Returning my WD Drive

I have the WD my passport External hard Drive. I did not like it or how it performed and was set up so I tried to return it. I created an RMA and everything and sent it back and I was under the impression that I was going to be refunded my money because I thought I had read something about a 30 day money back guarantee, but I just received a replacement my passport in the mail that I don’t want. Anyone know how I can get my money back?

That’s up to your retailer.

What if I bought it from Western Digital? They did not tell me they were just going to send me a new item instead of giving me my money back.

Well, under the RETURNS link on the WD store, it says:

Send your WD Store return to this address:
WD Store Returns Dept.
Attn: RMA # _____
10380 Bren Rd W
Minnetonka, MN 55343

(Please note that this is NOT the same address found on WD’s support site for defective products.)

Is that what you did, but they sent you a replacement anyway?

where on earth did you find the number to call customer service to get a RMA ?
