WD My Passport RMA Packaging!

Hi,
I got an RMA to return a faulty My Passport 2TB drive. Anyone knows if I should include the USB cable in the package or just the drive is enough? I don’t know if I will receive back a drive with cable or without and I can’t find any clear packaging instructions for returning My Passport drives!

If you suspect that the cable is bad, you should specifically mark that on the cable and ask them to replace it. If it’s definitely the drive, then definitely do NOT include the cord.

No the cable is fine as I tried different cable but the drive has too many bad sectors and I can’t erase it! I was just worried that they will not accept it without the USB cable. Thanks
