Restauring datas from "My Passport Ultra" to MacBook Pro

I have been using “My Passport Ultra” for some time for automatic safeguard of my datas. No problem to connect and mount, regular and automatic safeguard OK. No other datas than from my Mac Book Pro stored on this drive.
Now I would like to restaure some files ( now corrupted on my Mac) from “My Passport Ultra”. How can I do that without the Mac version of the WD Safeguard software which is only available for PC ?

Not being a long experienced user of Mac , I would appreciate any advice / help

Hi,

As a recommendation, try to install that application on that computer since you will need the same software that you used to backup the files in order to retrieve the files.

Another thing that you can try, is to access the drive manually and see if the files are not encrypted.
