Replacing MBL hard drives

Hi all,

Is it possible to replace my MBL harddrives Caviar Greens by the RED ones? Are there any advantages?

I have been told by WDTony that WD Reds will work in the MBL and MBLDUO
Don’t forget the OS is on the hard drives though and you would need to put the OS on the new REDS with the debricking guide or other means.

I’m unsure on the specs for the REDS, all I know is they are specifically made for NAS usage. Try googling for some tech specs and compare it to the GREENS.
