Hi, how large can the drives be, and what drives should i buy?
Would the device support 2x4TB? (example)

Yes it supports 2x4TB could even go 2x6TB if you wanted.

There’s a compatibility list of drives for the MyCloud EX2 here which if I remember correctly is also applicable to the MCM as they are almost identical products.
