Hi,
Mentor support today told me that an identical disc model is no more available, so I should buy a similar one on free market and plug it in.
Up to now I thought I cannot just plug in a disk, but this disk has to get a special preparation and/or formatting before it can be used in a MBL Duo.
Which of both is right? Can I simply buy a “similar” WD green having same capacity, and plug it into my MBL Duo, without any preparation? If I proceed in this way: will MBL Duo synchronize both disks without loss of data?
Thanks for helpful feedback
