Remove /var/run/com.wdc.WDPrivilegedHelper.socket

Hi, I have a WD my book for mac hooked up to my iMac running 10.11.5
I notice this /var/run/com.wdc.WDPrivilegedHelper.socket and suspect it might be causing a CPU process to run out of control
How do i get rid of it? I’ve tried through finder/go /var/run/com.wdc.WDPrivilegedHelper.socket
cant find that location.

any ideas?

Its a My book 3 TB drive
Its connected via usb
