Remote access, other than webdav?

Hi,

When I try to access my files through wd2go, using Windows 7, the webdav connection generated is extremely bad. Most of the times if I just do a right click on one file it crashes explorer and I need to reboot the computer. I am not sure why it is, but I suspect it might have something to do with the famous problems in network access and W7.

I was wondering if it was possible to access my drive remotely with a different protocol (ftp, for example), or mount my drive with in another software, like Cyberduck? which address should I put?

ps: I don’t have any other OS at hand to try if the problem is only with Windows or general with any system

Well I figured out how to access FTP from outside, enabling NAT on port 21 to the IP of my MBL

that will only work until your wan address changes.  you should try to use something like dyndns to maintain the connection.
