Remote accecs connectivity fail

Hey i just recently got the WD livebook 3TB version and iam trying to enable the remote acces but it’s constantly failing and i get this message 

“Could not establish remote access connection. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet.”

anyone have any ideas?

Check the DNS servers assigned to the MBL since they are the ones allowing internet access, I’d also check if the MBL has blocked ports on the router…

make sure you have a static IP, also fill in netmask, gateway and DNS, everything
