I’m interested in this hdd but I can’t find information on it’s revolutions per minute in spec and info on the internet either says 5400 or 7200.
so which one is it?

The rotational speed is listed as “IntelliPower”.
This marketing speak clouds the specification, but AFAICT the actual speed is 5400RPM.
A competitor’s document shows that the sustained transfer rate of 109MB/s is about 10% less than that of a current model 2TB 5900RPM drive (121MB/s).
7200 RPM according to WD’s spec sheet, was just looking for this myself!
