WD Discovery can see My Passport but didn’t show a volume 
Then I recalled it was recently used on Mac and formatted as HSF+
I was able to quickly launch WD Drive Utilities App, click Erase Drive and format using NTFS
Nice having the Apps at my finger tips instead of searching the start menu.
