Public Folder or move transmission

I’m having trouble with my WD Dl4100, I wish public to be on a non raid partition, I added 3 drives, but it wouldn’t let me create a mirror with 3 drives in so removed a disk to let me created Mirror volume. Then I added the other disk created a JBOD.
But the Public was on the RAID array.

I cant see a way to move the public folder to the non raid disk, does anyone know how to do this?

The reason for this is that Transmission automatically uses Public for downloads, so if its not possible to move public, can I force transmission to use another share as the default download share?

I thought there was a dropdown to select which raid

Where is the drop down?

The only options I saw when I had 3 disks in where JBOD, Raid 0, Raid 5,

Does anyone know if there is a way to,set transmission to use another folder on a different volume for downloads?

I wish to use my volume that is non raid for this.

Think I managed to fix this, `so that public was not on raid volume but was a bit of a pain.

Took all drives out of dl4100 and connected to my pc one at a time on spare sat port, and deleted all partitions.

Connected one drive and performed 40 sec factory reset, built a volume as JBOD with 1 disk

Shut down added 2 other disks and created raid 1 volume.

Still can see how to force transmission to use a different default to public, will post if I can find a fix.

If anyone else has this issue, creating from scratch, add 1 disk create JBOD and then add your 2 other disks.

With regards to transmission folders, I noticed that there is a setting in transmission for path.

I have managed to point to a sub folder in public/transmission/myfolder

And have successfully downloaded to this.
Not sure if you can point to other shares from here yet.

Well that dropdown is for a new share and it does not look like you can move public, so what you did is prob the best work around.
