Problem with audio lip synch option

My audio seems to be ahead of seeing peoples lips moving. Not sure how to use the delay adance to correct this

I hear the audio before I see movement on the video, mayve by 5 or 6 sec.

Would appreciate advice on this

You can’t.   The Lip Sync adjust accounts for a few hundred milliseconds.   Not 5 or 6 SECONDS.

Can’t imagine what would cause that big of a delay.

Guess I was wrong about it being 5 or 6 secs      it’s much much less

do  you know of software that would correct a out of synch video?

There are lots and depends on your file type.

You also need to know how far it is out of synch as well.
