PR4100 Shares - Can they be added to sync?

I was hoping to be able to sync my “Shares” with my home office computer, but I don’t see a way to set these folders to sync. Am I missing something?

I see I can sync sub folders, but not top level folders, is there a reason for this?

It depends on your sync software. Since shares themselves are “divisions” within your NAS rather than plain folders the sync software in question may be unable to recreate them.

I’m using the WD sync software, seems like they would have considered that. I created a subfolder in the share and put all the files and folders in there. I was then able to sync that folder, seems counterintuitive.
