Could it be possible to retrieve or open a password protected DX4000 if I forgot the password inputted? I really want to reopen my DX4000
No, you can do servername/connect from a pc browser and start the connector install. When it asks for the admin password it will show the password hint and hopefully that will help you remember.
All the password hacks require a monitor which you do not have
Other than that you can contact wd and get the recovery iso and reload the box keeping the data. SO you will lose all the users and computers but hopefully keep your files
