We have small business in Oman and storing data on DX4000. Unfortunately, non of our colleagues remember the user name and password. We have not much data on it, so losing the data is not an issue. Please advise to how reset the password/restore factory setting.
You need to find the recovery iso which may be hard since WD pulled it.
From a local PC if you will open IE and type severname/connect it will bring you to a connector download page. Hit download>run click next till it asks for username and password. There is a hint link. Maybe the hint will help? The username is administrator

Good idea, however the hint also cannot help! Is there any other way to make it as it was purchased?
