Partitioning/ Making WD work on both Mac and PC

I tried partitioning my WD 4T on my Macbook Pro Sierra. I tried erasing it but it says that the disk is too big for such thing. I think I screwed it up at this point. Is that even possible?

Any suggestions on what to do? I cannot see my WD HD anymore whenever I plug it into my laptop. I can still see it in DU though. Help me. I’m a noob.

As for the solution, use a different filesystem like exfat.

Just erase the disk back to MacOS Journaled to make it comeback as usual. I don’t depend upon the Disk Utility entirely on managing hard drives. You can try Stellar Partition Manager for disk management tasks. I am using it. Works well.
