I installed a 6TB My Book 2 weeks ago. It is showing that it has stored more GB of data than what is stored on the hard drive in my computer. I guess I don’t understand how this is possible. Is it re-storing data that it already stored once?
In order to better assist you, let us know if you are using any type of backup software on the computer that might be copying new files to the drive, also would like to know what Operating system you are using.
