Not sure what you mean by public beta - the previous firmware version 1.06.34_V upgrade was picked up by my WDTV live, I didn’t go looking for it.
It was announced as any normal version http://community.wdc.com/t5/WD-TV-Live-Firmware-Networking/New-Release-WD-TV-Live-Firmware-Version-1-06-34-V-9-24-12/td-p/476140 - nothing to indicate that it was a Beta release…
Anyway i have it iPlayer back now. I’ll be a bit more careful about upgrading in the future.
