My Cloud, never goes into standby mode, the solid blue LED and the disc spins.
I also tried to leave connected to the switch only NAS for more than 40 minutes but does not stop. The software version is the latest and is more than a month that is on continuously.

Use the forum search feature (magnifying glass icon upper right) and search for “sleep” or “standby”. There are numerous previous discussions on this issue of the My Cloud having trouble going into or staying in sleep mode. There are some possible workarounds mostly involving using SSH to modify some services/settings.
