With the way you describe, normally power LED blinking RED indicate a RAID failure. Check you manual. If you able to see your drive mount on the desktop on Mac or in Windows and able to access your data. You can use WD Utilities software to rebuild the RAID.

You can download the software from here Software and Firmware Downloads | WD Support

Have you read all of my original post?

As I mentioned in my original post part A
when both drives are in the enclosure
MacOs does not recognize the drive
Diskutil does not recognize RAID
Finder : Cannot see drive. Content not navigable.
WD Drive utilities: Attach a supported WD drive.

I therefore cannot rebuild the RAID with WD Utilities.
The current version of my WD Utilities is 2.1.1.117

Install fails for the latest 2.1.1.119 Release Date: 4/15/2020
even if I run it with root privileges.

See attached install error for 2.1.1.119
