wont back up, it wants my to purchase dropbox, how can I get it back to the way it use to be??
I believe you are confusing the WD Passport (Physical hard drive) with WD SmartWare (Automatic backup application). WD SmartWare will store your computer’s data into your WD Passport, but not into your Dropbox account unless you are using WD SmartWare Pro as opposed to WD SmartWare Standard.

So if I am confused how do I get that back to the WD Smartware Standard?? when I go to do a back-up my only option is dropbox… It used to be the standard then it changed when I did an update
