i have an external HD my passport 2 giga
as i want to eject it on windows 7 starter or on windows 10 i click the eject then the computer tells my it is safe to eject the my passport hd but i see that the my passport is still spinning and the led light is still on
it wont shut down
when i bought it it did shut down compleatly but now it wont and i dont want to unplug it while it is still spinning !!!
what i usualy do is to shut down the computer and then plug it out
is there i safe way to unplug it?
do i need to download a special driver?
this is a portable hard drive my passport 2 giga usb 3 cable
