My passport usb cable port is broken. I want to know can it wil replaces with a usb pin or the complete casing and want to know if the files will be safe or should I go for recovery only

If brocken only USB-port - no problem.
You can sold new USB-port or sold to SATA pins.
Better give this work to repair-shop.
