I have a 2 TB My Passport Ultra. My computer also has 1 TB of storage. 256 GB is currently used on my computer. When I try to run a backup on My Passport, I’m getting an error that the drive is full. According to Windows backup, it shows 1.57 TB is taken up by other files. I am using Windows backup- is that what is causing my WD backup to fill up? Should I install the WD apps on my computer? (I haven’t.)
I would like to back up my files. If possible, I would like to back up my Windows also. As you can probably tell, I’m not very computer savvy so any assistance you can provide in helping me with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
