My software was working OK then told me there was no space despite total file use on PC <300GB and Passport Ultra is 1TB. The software has allocated 931GB to “Additional Files”.

You can check the properties of the drive to see what’s the space left on the unit.
Could be that you have other files on the drive besides the backup. Also, could be duplicated files.
