My Passport Ultra 4TB - UAS(P)?

Hi there,
I have just bought a My Passport Ultra 4TB and was hoping for a UASP Drive, but I cannot connect it via UAS(P), so I did some research and found out that the drive uses a Asmedia ASM225CM Chipset which supports UAS(P), so I am wondering what I am doing wrong.
Is there any way I can/have to enable UAS(P) on my drive?

Please help me. I am using the harddrive on a Raspberry Pi 4 8GB with UASP support, nevertheless CPU Power is important on that small device, that’s why I need to have UAS(P) support.

Please I need some help with this. Is there a Firmware update available for the drive?

Kind regards,
smartbyte.

If you had done research before buying the My Passport Ultra 4TB (instead of “hoping” afterwards) then you would have found that UASP is not listed or featured anywhere in the supported specs or features.

Research supported product features buying a product next time.

Thanks for that advice.
