My Passport Ultra-1TB - Want to format to Fat32 for Fire Stick connection. Will the format work?
You will have to use 3rd Party Software to format to FAT32 because if you use Windows format utility, then 32GB is Maximum partition size that it will allow.
Would allow recommend when formatting it with 3rd Party Software to FAT32 to also select MBR partitioning and not GPT (GUID Partition Table) to increase compatibility.
Ultimately, the My Passport Ultras have not been tested with Fire Sticks … so it might work, or it might not.
The only way to find out … is to try it
