My passport stuck at 5% charging

This is a known issue, i have tried all of the user’s tips, and have had zero help from WD support. Now I want to swap out the battery. Does anyone now where I can get a replacement other that the worthless WD resource? A google search or Amazon have not revealed a place to get one. Any ideas?
Also, has anyone else experienced a criminal lack of support from WD? This known issue includes a bloated battery issue, which is clearly a fire hazard, and yet no recall or resolution for the many consumers with this dangerous, worthless paper-weight.
