My Passport suddenly asked me for a password I have never set before.
It’s unbelivable not solving that kind of problem (when many password are stolen every day!).

Try to connect the drive on a different computer, also try too connect the unit with a different USB cable and verify if the unit keeps asking for a password. I have not experienced this lets see if another user can share some tips and information on this matter.
