1TB My Cloud Home? Don’t think there is a 1TB version, the WD website indicates a 2TB and up version. The My Cloud Home does have a USB port but apparently its for importing data from the USB drive to the My Cloud Home device.
The My Cloud Home is NOT a direct upgrade or update of the My Cloud device. It has different features and hardware than the My Cloud device has. If you want the ability to backup the My Cloud to a USB drive over the USB port then buy the My Cloud device, NOT a My Cloud Home device.
