So I own a My Book World 1TB device and it broke, blue light wouldn’t come on, could hear the drives spinning read an article somewhere that said I could strip down my unit and get the data off the drives but how??
I need the data more than I need the drive to work as it was my backup unit and my computer broke due to water damage recently!
The article I read said I"d need linux so I’ve got Ubuntu ready but I can’t work out how to view the drives. Both are plugged directly into the machine and no it doesn’t auto detect them.
