My Book Studio II Likes WD Red Drives!

I just upgraded my Studio II to 8tb using 2x WD Red drives. Works perfectly.

I thought his might help some people who have a need for more external drive space.

WD Caviar® Green™ are considered to use with My Book Studio II but as it has gone under EOD so WD green also can be used.

Greens are no longer available. The Studio II is quite fast using Firewire 800 or eSATA. As such, it is good to be able to replace the drives if they fail and it is nice that the WD RED series work fine.
