I bought this drive from Best Buy. Main reason for my purchase - 5 Years Limited Warranty (according to label on the box). But when I register my new drive on WD site - only 3 years of warranty. Any one else have the same situation?

According to the Western Digital Warranty Policy the WD My Book Studio Edition II comes with a 3 year limited warranty. Please contact Best Buy directly to verify if they are offering a warranty extension.
but box and all documentation in the box are made by WD not by Best Buy. Why I should ask Best Buy for a warranty extension if 5 year warranty printed by WD on WD box product? This is huge misleading.
