My book live duo drive replacement downgrade

Hello
I have a WD my book live duo 2X3TB device for a while now it contains all my photos and other important stuff
Drive B has failed and I wanted to replace it but could not afford two 3TB drives ,so a friend of mine gave me two new 2TB RED NAS drives to use
my question is can I replace the two 3TB drives with these two 2TB drives effectively down grading from 3TB to 2TB and how would I do that .

Yes, you can use two 2TB drives in My Book Live duo. But first, I would recommend you to create backup of the 3TB drive which is already in the My Book Duo then replace drives with two 2 TB WD Red drives. For more details, refer to the link given below:
