Everything was working ok until a few ago when my external HD stop working it no longer is detected by any computers or Laptop when i plug it into my computer no lights show up on the external HD but if i press the power button on the back the light begin to flicker and then stays solid but nothing happens after. Can any help me with this issue?
My last resort plan is to remove it off the Caseing off and attempt to use it on my computer so i can recover some of my file and also use it.
Hi, check if the my book is recognized on the disk management window. If you need to recover your files, I don’t recommend opening the case, the data inside the internal hard drive is encrypted, so if it’s not connected to the PCB board it wont be readable. Call tech support first to see if the can offer any advice.
