Mac Network Share for multiple Macs

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can map my new My cloud Home as a network share from a Mac

I followed the instructions (Error) but I can’t login. I don’t understand what to use as it always tells me there is a problem. First off the user name comes up as “mycloud-9snouf”. so I enter smb://mycloud-9snouf

I then get the login page. My name is automatically filled in for the login name, I tried all kinds of passwords, nothing works. My home password, my computer password, no password. I tried changing the login name. Cant get anything to work for some reason.

Any luck with this?

I’m pretty sure you can’t do that with the MyCloud Home. If you look closer at that article, it lists all kinds of WD drives, but not Home.
