I’m thinking about purchasing a WD My Cloud Home Duo, and I wanted to know it there’s any Linux support at all? I have a very old Seagate Blackarmor that needs replacing, but with it I can mount multiple shares to my Linux computer and access it through SMB/FTP on my various devices. Does the WD My Cloud Home have this capability, or do I have to use the app to access all of my files?

Does it have unofficial Linux support through direct connection (SMB)? I can connect to my current NAS locally through SMB and remotely through FTP. Does the My Cloud home support SMB and FTP protocols?
