Hi, after updating tonight, when sleep the hard disk, the disk activity LEDs don’t switch off. On the old firmware, this work well and switch off when disk sleep.
Anyone else will happen?

Hi i have spoted that today on my cloud i have red power led i have loged to my cloud page and new firmware have been instaled. After that it rebooted and never came back. The power Led is red others arę blue and i cant login to the cloud page
Same problem here. Thought the disks don´t go in standby, but the disks are off and the LEDs are still on. Hope that can be fixed…

Unfortunately, I have to report that wd my photos, android app, doesn’t work anymore. It says 0 photos, after login. Wd my cloud works fine.
HI, I saw the same issue. Both of my boxes updated to 2.10.302 overnight and this morning the disc leds were on even though the discs were idle
I am having the same problem with my WD 4GB two drive system after I did the firmware update. Power light is a steady red, and two drive lights are constant blue in idle.
The same at my WD MC Mirror 4GB. All 3 front LED’s are steady blue. Is that the progress of a firmware update?? Did anyone really test the software before delivering it?
If this will be the only bug in new fw, I won’t complain. 
Same thing here…since the firmware update, the drive LED lights on both my My Cloud Mirror and My Cloud EX2 remain on at all times.
Today I noticed that MCM when idle, the top led is slowly flashing , other two are as said before, always on.
Same here, system not in use but 3 leds active on WD my cloud mirror 8 tb. I use a 3rd party sync app wich I cannot connect to the NAS anymore. Please fix

It’s not that. I have those same settings. The first just allows the drives to sleep and the second just enables the leds.
We still expect the leds to go out when the drives are idle, but they don’t.
Huh, I don’t have this extra button for led’s?
1.) Not about the LED’s but before I could load my MyCloud up till full, real full. Now, I have 332Gb free but can’t upload any file anymore, small, big. Always it answer with “not enough space”, If I copy a file under the ssh/terminal it says also not enough space.
2.) It takes almost 2 minutes before de added app’s shows up in the app’s list scroll view. before it was 40 seconds.
3.) It still happens that dropbox app stops to start with syncing after the time periode, even when there are files changed or removed. If I don’t restart the WDMC then it will never get synced .
Same here. After updating, the LED are quite constantly on blue but I cannot access the NAS.
I tried both the browser within my local network and also the apps (both OS X and iOS App that have work before the update do not work anymore). No connectivity at all. Also, LAN Scan does not show me the device within my local network anymore.
Any help appreciated. WD is not showing a lot of competence here.
Every firmware update is causing major issues on those machines and it’s annoying.
actualiy, I got a whole list. And the handling from WD, is not a proffesional toko. Specialy if you need it to run business with it.
I will not recommend any item from WD to someone. it is poep software. I did call, ask for help, request for help, but they don’t even react.
It stil do change files and folder unrequested. It changes creation dates.
The image is from a map that is placed one month ago but everything got the date from the day of the upgrade. Also folder names are changed, at least 50+ in this folder…
