My 5K iMac doesn’t recognize my 8TB G-Raid with Thunderbolt external drive.
A few days ago I put some GB on it and everything was fine.
Now I want to put some more but my iMac doesn’t find it.
I can see it in Disk Utility and in the G-RAID Configurator but it doesn’t show the drive in the finder
If the drive shows in Disk Utility but won’t mount then that means the volume has been corrupted. You can attempt to mount it manually in Disk Utility or to run First Aid on it to repair.
In most cases if the drive is corrupted and won’t mount you will need to use a more powerful solution to rebuild it. We recommend Disk Warrior to fix these types of issues.
