I upgraded my system to os5, I’m sure of it.

Led blue light flashes continuously and never stops.

If you are certain you updated to OS5 v5.x firmware then see, and search through, the OS5 subforum for similar posts about continue front blue flashing LED. For example someone just posted the following in the OS5 My Cloud subforum:

Hi, I’ve been having a lot of troubles connecting my WD MyCloud Gen2 2TB of size though it was working properly till few months back. Now it is continuously flashing blue and not connecting. I tried the fixes tat suggest the Telnet when using the USBRecovery method with the boot folder and the 4 files included, and upon restart it blinks yellow/red. I followed all the steps and restarted twice after entering all commands from the Telnet function. I removed the power plug afterwards and reboot…

P/N: WDBCTL0040HWT-10. Tried the 4 & 40 second resets, can’t get to the dashboard or access the drive from my PC. I am able to log in via SSH into the linux terminal, but not sure what to do from there to troubleshoot. Any idea or help would be greatly appreciated.

Use the forum search feature (magnifying glass icon top right) to search through the OS5 subforum(s) to find similar posts and discussions on the front blue flashing LED issue. It comes up from time to time.
