How to sync from WD-my cloud home to w/ext hd

I have photo/documents/etc. folders with family old stuff that I would like to sync from WD-my cloud home to w/ext hd. I do backups, but what are options without using copy/paste? Does WD-cloud have this feature and if so how? If not any 3rd party apps?

I do this when going away from home for projects. also, several places have no internet or Wi-Fi connection

I’ve used this MCH for a year and there isn’t a sync option to external and also I have a problem transferring directly to external it pauses for 10 or seconds after every few files so I have to copy to the computer internal (SSD for me) then to the external but strangely from external directly to MCH doesn’t seem to be a problem .
