How to back up another external HD to a My Passport HD automatically - (Mac)?

Hi all,

I’m trying to back up an external HD to a new My Passport HD using a mac.

I have a ton of photos stored on an external HD, and I’d like to somehow automatically back up all the contents on this external HD to a new My Passport HD on a regular schedule. I can’t find any WD software for a mac that does this. I want to be able to have the two external HDs have the same content.

I thought “WD Backup” software sounds like it’ll do the job but it’s only for Windows.

Any help would be appreciated.

As Mac Time Machine is a backup tool used in macOS for backup process which backs up computer data on external hard drives. Unfortunately, there is no WD tool present to backup an external hard drive on another. You can do it manually or require PC to use WD Backup.
