What the model number of your drive? Depending on the drive that you have, there’s different ways to achieve that.

If is a local drive using WD Security, you can type in the password five times and the unit should ask you to reformat the drive to reset the password. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WILL ERASE ALL THE DATA ON THE DRIVE.
