How do I map a share from outside of my network?

We have just bought an EX2100 and need to access the data on it from different locations, and want to map the shared drives to my Apple MacBook, my Windows 7 laptop and my colleague’s Apple iMac.

We are using a Netgear router and any ideas how to configure the WD EX2100 and computers.

Better to install WD My Cloud app on those systems. Or you can configure your Netgear router for VPN access. I prefer using the WD My cloud app for simple setup and use.
