Hook up Samsung Sound Bar

I have a media player with one HDMI input. I have a Samsung HW-450 Soundbar…how do I connect the two does anyone know? I had it hooked up but then I disconnected to to move it and now it won’t work. I have an HDMI going from soundbar to box, box to TV and TV to soundbar…no audio or video. Appreciate if anyone can help. Samsung support is useless. Thanks.

Your description is a bit confusing.

  1. The WDTV SMP [OUTPUTS] to the Samsung HWE-450 ( into it’s [INPUT] )

  2. Then the Samsung [OUTPUTS] to your TV’s [INPUT]

 

(Also, on the SMP go to Setup > Audio/Video > Audio Output > Digital Pass Through via HDMI Only > Auto Detect )
