I have the My Book and I’m using it on my mac. I dont know much about hard drives but ive had this for little over a year now! I have alot of important stuff on this drive and well it decided to stop showing me the files??? It shows that it has 3 of the 4tb full with my information yet when I open its empty! Ive tried to use the disk utility on the mac but it fails the disk utility from WD does nothing when i press scan and every free data recovery software ive found doesnt find the files! The my book lights up makes noises and my computer sees it just fine! Ive tried two other macbooks with the same result! any ideas thank you!
