I have a My Cloud Pro Series 4-Bay NAS running Firmware Version : 5.26.202
I have four 3TB drives configured as RAID 5, total 8.91 TB available for use.
I have had an ISCSI volume configured for some time that is about 8TB fairly full with data. Recently the ISCSI Target disappeared from the MyCloud Dashboard and disconnected from the ISCSI initiator. I followed an online link to recover it using a terminal connection to the MyCloud and the command; [iscsictl --add_lun -L media -F /mnt/HD/HD_a2/.systemfile/iscsi_images/media.img -V Volume_1 -p 1]
This restored the ISCSI Target to the WD dashboard but without a name and the ISCSI Initiator cannot connect to it.
If anyone can help, I’d sure appreciate it.

Thanks for your response. Can you give me an idea of what the two commands do? After I do this, the ISCSI initiator should be able to connect?
I ordered a 10 tb Elements USB 3.0 drive and upgraded my server with a USB 3.2 card. Followed the instructions in the link; My Cloud OS 5: iSCSI Target Cannot Connect or Create but my server still cannot find the ISCSI target.
Unbelievable that WD releases an update that makes 9tb of data inaccessible.
The MyCoud is connected directly to the server by dedicated network port on a 10.10.10.10 network. When I go to the ISCSI initiator and enter the target address, it just says connection failed.
This has worked fine until it was clobbered by WD’s update.
