HI there,
I have an 8TB GRAID 0G03244 and I’m trying to configure it for RAID1 but I don’t have the correct software.
I read in an older post there was software called G-Technology RAID Configuration Utility that would do it and I wondered if someone could post a link to the windows version.
I know that this is an older drive but I’m hoping that someone can help as I really need to re configure my drive to RAID 1 and haven’t found a way to do it yet.
Many thanks
Ian
Use the G-Speed Q Raid software at https://support.g-technology.com/downloads.aspx?lang=en
This will set up Raid 0 or Raid 1 configuration.
You may then need to go to Windows Computer Management / Disk Management to assign a drive letter and format the drive. You should then see the drive in Windows file explorer.
Hello, I am clearing out a friends stash of G-Raid units and he has two 0G03244 arrays. Is there any possibility of finding the Configurator Software for these units? The software online is only for the Thunderbolt versions.
Thank you!
It sounds like your new 24TB My Duo Drive may be experiencing a power or hardware issue. Start by ensuring the power adapter is securely connected to both the drive and the wall outlet, and try using a different outlet to rule out any problems with the current one. Check the power and data cables for any damage and consider swapping them out if you have spares. Make sure the drive is in a well-ventilated area to avoid overheating, and if applicable, try resetting it by using a reset button or unplugging it for a few minutes. If you manage to power it on, check the manufacturer’s website for any firmware updates. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, contacting the manufacturer’s support may be necessary, and if the drive remains non-functional, returning it for a replacement is advisable.
