G-RAID SHUTTLE 8 HDD drive swap

Hi, The 144TB G-RAID Shuttle 8 product specifications suggests it will use 8 x 18TB 3.5" SATA HDD 7200rpm drives

Question 1: Can these drives be replaced with other 3.5" SATA HDD drives of greater (or lower) capacity?
Question 2: Can these drives be replaced with 3.5" SATA SSD drives for increased performance?
Question 3: If drives can be swapped is there a list of suggested compliant/supported drives?
